Innovation Intern - Scaling

ABOUT THE JOB

Fashion for Good is on a mission to transform the fashion industry for good. We're a dynamic organisation in Amsterdam dedicated to driving sustainability and innovation in fashion. 

As an Innovation Intern, you'll will support the Scaling team in various projects and initiative that are aimed at solving the commercialisation challenges of Innovators across materials and processes. 

This role is a paid 6-month internship starting in mid-September 2024 and is part of the team working from Fashion for Good’s Amsterdam office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the scaling team on various projects and initiatives.

- Develop and update in regional knowledge landscapes with up to date news and key insights in the supply chain.

- Operations support on the newly launched Supplier driven initiatives.

- Support Fashion for Good’s overseas team with daily project management tasks.

- Support keeping track of various timelines, deadlines, and milestones.

- Edit, create and design engaging collaterals with relevant visuals.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate has a relevant track record and combines strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, proactive attitude.

The following skills/knowledge are essential:

• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• A basic understanding of the supply chain & the fashion industry

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Capacity to work in a demanding and multicultural environment

• Excellent written and oral communication skills incl. powerpoint

• A pro-active, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and comfortable dealing with uncertainty

• Strong G Suite knowledge and presentation skills

The following experience is a plus: relevant work in financing and research or/and textile manufacturing, sustainability.
