Do you love fashion and sustainability? We’re looking for a Host Lead to join our team working on the world’s first interactive museum entirely dedicated to sustainable fashion and innovation. 

Fashion for Good is a museum, a store and an event space in one, located in the centre of Amsterdam. The responsibilities of this role focus around leading a team of museum hosts and volunteers, overseeing bookings and day-to-day operations of the museum and ensuring the best in class museum and retail experience.

Your role

As a Museum Host Lead, you are the face of our organisation. You will ensure the museum runs smoothly and be the connection between the hosts and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the museum and ensuring all activities are running smoothly
• Scheduling group tours, visits and programmes in the museum calendar, making reservations and processing payments
• Leading team’s hiring, on-boarding and training
• Organising team’s schedule and workload
• Collecting and implementing feedback on museum performance from visitors, hosts and other stakeholders
• Managing the stocks and the retail experience of the Good Shop
• Tracking and reporting daily museum KPI’s to the Museum General Manager
• Working closely with the Museum, Events and Community teams to execute museum activities (exhibition build-ups, events and other bookings)
• Leading some of the tours and education programmes for a variety of audiences

You have a passion for sustainable fashion, museums and people. You are a highly responsible, self-starting and organised person, capable of working well with others and leading an international and dynamic team.

You are:

• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Living in Amsterdam and available to work on location

• A people’s person with genuine care for others
  

• Flexible and proactive, with a hands-on attitude

• Reliable and like to keep the space around yourself well-organised
