Community & Events Coordinator - Front Desk

As Front Desk Community & Events Coordinator you are the face of our organisation. You facilitate people entering our space and act as a brand ambassador to ensure our co-locators have what they need to achieve their missions. You report to the building each day ensuring it is fully operational and processes are running efficient. You work as part of a wider Community team to achieve the following:
Cover the front desk during the building’s set business hours and be an on-site point of contact, easily located at our entrance. Ensure all visiting guests are in accordance with guest policy
Support on event related tasks including: contacting external suppliers, scheduling, operations (build up & build down).
Maintain flexibility in working hours to support at events.
Support with community related work including catering, hospitality and operations. Anticipating co-locator and guest needs before they arise using relevant information
Answer any questions from co-locators and guests related to the building including way-finding, policies and procedures, community etiquette, etc.
Track, audit, and organise keys collected and distributed.
Review location and how to use each piece of Emergency Equipment.
About You
You have a passion for fashion, sustainability, and service. You are a social, energetic and positive person, capable of making conversation with an international audience. You like to help people and believe in the importance of our mission to make fashion a force for good. Events/hospitality experience is preferable. You are:
Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
A team-player
Living in Amsterdam
Friendly and communicative
Flexible and proactive, with a hands-on attitude
Tidy and like to keep the space around yourself well-organised
Target start date May 2024
