About the job

Fashion for Good seeks an Investments and Partnerships Intern who will be responsible for supporting the respective Managers in their day to day activities. The role will also support across the broader Innovation Platform from time to time.

The role will include, amongst others, the following activities/responsibilities:

  • Assist the Investment Manager with managing the FFG portfolio of investments

  • Assist the Investment Manager with the FFG Alumni Network

  • Be responsible for updating and managing the FFG Innovation Database (on Airtable) and FFG's Partner Portal (support on landscape updates & pipeline)

  • Assist the Partnerships Manager with external presentation decks and back end operations

  • Assist the team in the creation of the Innovator deliverables (i.e. technical feasibility, impact analysis, project management, etc.)

  • Work closely with subject matter experts in the Innovation Platform to deepen knowledge and understanding of key focus areas

  • Assist in general Innovation Platform activities (including operations and day to day business activities)

  • Support in note taking and transcribing calls and share the findings and recommendations for follow up action.

This position reports to the Investment Manager.

The ideal candidate has a relevant track record and combines strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, proactive attitude.

The following skills/knowledge are essential:

  • Understanding of terminology and applications related to finance, accounting and investments.

  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail

  • Strong Google slides, Google sheets and presentation skills

  • Capacity to adapt to different settings and to work in a demanding and multicultural environment

  • Proactive with strong organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative thinker with the ability for sound judgement and accountability

  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and comfortable dealing with uncertainty

Education

Academic degree (Bachelor (HBO), or Masters) preferably within finance, investment management, business administration, financial accounting, economics, mathematics or engineering.

Language

Proficiency in English is a requirement.
