Innovation Platform Intern
Fashion for Good seeks an Innovation Intern who will be responsible for supporting the validation and scaling of innovation. The role will support across the Innovation Platform.
The role will include the following activities/responsibilities:
Assist in general Innovation Platform activities (including operations and day to day business activities)
Where relevant, support innovation leads with projects/pilots that further validate technologies
Assist the Partnerships Manager with external presentation decks and back end operations
Assist the Partnerships Manager with preparing for the Fashion for Good Symposium in October
Assist the Investment Manager with managing the FFG portfolio of investments
Assist the Investment Manager with the FFG Alumni Network
Be responsible for updating and managing the FFG Innovation Database (on airtable)
Map and update the landscape of innovations to further strengthen our scouting in selected focus areas.
Scout innovations to further strengthen our innovator database in selected focus areas
Assist the team in the creation of the Innovator deliverables (i.e. technical feasibility, impact analysis, project management, etc.)
Write reports describing findings and recommendations for follow up action.
Work closely with subject matter experts in the Innovation Platform to deepen knowledge and understanding of key focus areas
Support in note taking and transcribing calls and share the findings and recommendations for follow up action. These interactions should be recorded in relevant tools (ex: airtable, landscape reports, etc)
This position reports to the Innovation Manager
The ideal candidate has a relevant track record and combines strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, proactive attitude.

A good understanding of the supply chain & the fashion industry
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
Strong Google slides, Google sheets and presentation skills
Capacity to adapt to different settings and to work in a demanding and multicultural environment
Proactive with strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinker with the ability for sound judgement and accountability
Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and comfortable dealing with uncertainty
Education
Academic degree (Bachelor (HBO), or Masters) preferably within business administration, sustainability, innovation, financial accounting, material science, chemistry or textile engineering.
Language
Proficiency in English is a requirement.
